Our 490 GSM Cotton Canvas fabric, also referred to as “14.5 Oz Heavy Cotton Canvas Fabric,” is crafted from 100% premium cotton using a robust yarn count of 2/7 × 2/7, delivering superior thickness, strength, and a rugged heavy-duty finish.

Built with a durable construction of 42 × 26 (EPI × PPI) and a width of 60 inches, this ultra-heavy canvas features an impressive weight of 490 GSM / 750 GLM / 14.5 oz/yd², making it ideal for the most demanding applications. Its dense weave and coarse yarn structure provide excellent tear resistance, load-bearing capacity, and long-term durability—perfect for industrial covers, heavy-duty bags, tents, tarpaulins, footwear, and upholstery that require maximum strength.

It’s available in Conventional Cotton, Organic Cotton, Pre-consumer Recycled Cotton, Post-consumer Recycled Cotton, and BCI Cotton, all certified to OekoTex Standard 100. The fabric is expertly woven and roll-packed in lengths of up to 500 meters, ensuring flat edges, moisture protection, and contamination-free storage and transportation.
