485 GSM Cotton Canvas Fabric
Our 485 GSM Cotton Canvas fabric, also referred to as “14.3 Oz Heavy Cotton Canvas Fabric,” is crafted from 100% premium cotton using a durable yarn count of 2/10 × 3/10, delivering enhanced strength, structure, and a slightly textured heavy-duty finish.
Engineered with a strong construction of 48 × 28 (EPI × PPI) and a width of 60 inches, this high-density canvas features a substantial weight of 485 GSM / 740 GLM / 14.3 oz/yd², making it highly suitable for applications that require both durability and flexibility. The combination of finer and slightly coarser yarns improves tensile strength while maintaining a workable surface—ideal for bags, upholstery, footwear, industrial covers, and outdoor gear.
It’s available in Conventional Cotton, Organic Cotton, Pre-consumer Recycled Cotton, Post-consumer Recycled Cotton, and BCI Cotton, all certified to OekoTex Standard 100. The fabric is expertly woven and roll-packed in lengths of up to 500 meters, ensuring flat edges, moisture protection, and contamination-free handling during storage and transit.
We back the quality of our fabric with globally recognized certifications including GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) for organic variants, Global Recycled Standard (GRS) for recycled cotton, BCI Cotton, and OekoTex Standard 100, ensuring the fabric is free from harmful chemicals and safe for all end uses. Additionally, we hold certifications such as RCS Blended (Recycled Claim Standard), OCS 100 (Organic Content Standard), and OCS Blended, reinforcing our commitment to sustainability, transparency, and responsible manufacturing.
With complete traceability and full transparency across every stage of production, we ensure authenticity, consistency, and premium quality—making this heavy cotton canvas an excellent choice for brands seeking durability, sustainability, and high-performance materials.
